CROWN AI TERMS OF USE – FOR BUSINESS CLIENTS

These Terms of Use apply to your access and use of Crown AI, a digital tool provided by HEIR Consultancy Ltd for business-to-business (B2B) use only.

By accessing or using Crown AI, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the tool.

Use of Crown AI is entirely at your own risk, and HEIR Consultancy Ltd accepts no responsibility or liability for any content generated, outcomes produced, or actions taken based on the tool; all responsibility for compliance, legality, and ethical use lies solely with the user.

1. What Crown AI Is

Crown AI is an AI-powered digital support tool trained on HEIR Consultancy Ltd frameworks, transcripts, strategies and tone. It is designed to help salon owners and educators with ideas, content, and strategic thinking.

Crown AI uses OpenAI’s technology (like ChatGPT). HEIR Consultancy Ltd does not own this software, it is a provider of custom-built training and access.

All HEIR Consultancy Ltd content used to train Crown AI—including frameworks, documents, prompts, and strategy material—is the intellectual property of HEIR Consultancy Ltd and protected under UK copyright law. Unauthorised copying or distribution of any content, whether directly or via AI output, is strictly prohibited. If required, HEIR Consultancy Ltd can demonstrate the date of original creation to enforce copyright ownership.

2. Your Licence to Use Crown AI

  • You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Crown AI within your own business.
  • You must not share, resell, sublicense, or repurpose Crown AI content for clients, students or other businesses unless you have a specific written licence agreement from HEIR Consultancy Ltd.
  • You are responsible for ensuring your team or collaborators also comply with these terms.

2.1 Subscription & Access

  • Crown AI is a paid subscription service operated by HEIR Consultancy Ltd.
  • It may be provided as part of an existing product or package you have purchased, or as a standalone subscription.
  • Continued access to Crown AI is dependent on an active monthly subscription.
  • HEIR Consultancy Ltd recommends that all users also maintain a ChatGPT Plus subscription through OpenAI to ensure uninterrupted access to Crown AI features and functionality.
  • Your access to Crown AI is secured via a password that is updated monthly and may be updated at any time without notice. The current password is available only inside the paid member portal.
  • HEIR Consultancy Ltd does not provide refunds based on lack of usage or participation.

3. What You Cannot Do

  • Use Crown AI for unlawful, harmful, offensive or misleading content.
  • Use Crown AI to train another AI model or build a competing product.
  • Use Crown AI outputs as original work for resale or public publication without permission.

3.1 Compliance with OpenAI’s Usage Policies

By using Crown AI, you agree to comply with OpenAI’s Usage Policies.
You must not use Crown AI to generate harmful, illegal, misleading, infringing, or otherwise restricted content.
Responsibility for how Crown AI is used sits entirely with you (the user). HEIR Consultancy Ltd will not be held responsible for misuse or outputs that breach these policies.

4. Use at Your Own Risk

  • Crown AI provides machine-generated responses. These are suggestions, not guaranteed results or professional advice.
  • HEIR Consultancy Ltd makes no guarantees or warranties about the accuracy, effectiveness or impact of Crown AI’s outputs.
  • All decisions made using Crown AI are your responsibility. Use of the tool is entirely at your own risk.
  • You acknowledge that results may vary based on how the tool is used. HEIR Consultancy Ltd cannot guarantee specific business results, outcomes, or improvements.

5. We Are Not Liable For…

To the fullest extent allowed by law, HEIR Consultancy Ltd is not liable for:

  • Any loss of income, clients, reputation, or opportunity due to Crown AI use
  • Business decisions made from AI-generated suggestions
  • Content generated that you disagree with, find incorrect, or that causes offence
  • Platform outages, errors, or shutdowns related to OpenAI or ChatGPT
  • Changes to OpenAI’s terms or technology that may impact access to Crown AI

6. OpenAI Platform Dependency

Crown AI is powered by OpenAI’s technology. If OpenAI:

  • Changes its terms
  • Limits access
  • Discontinues services
    HEIR Consultancy Ltd is not responsible for any resulting service interruption, loss of access, or technical issues. No refunds or compensation will be due in this case.

7. Right of Audit & Monitoring

HEIR Consultancy Ltd reserves the right to:

  • Monitor usage to ensure it aligns with your licence
  • Request proof of how Crown AI is being used
  • Suspend or terminate access if misuse, sharing, or breach of terms occurs

8. Indemnity

If you misuse Crown AI or breach these terms, and it results in a claim or issue against HEIR Consultancy Ltd, you agree to cover HEIR Consultancy Ltd’s costs, losses, and any resulting legal fees.

9. Terms May Change

These terms may be updated to reflect changes in:

  • OpenAI’s platform or policies
  • HEIR Consultancy Ltd’s delivery of Crown AI
  • Legal or regulatory requirements

HEIR Consultancy Ltd will notify users of significant updates. Continued use means you agree to any revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Data Handling & Privacy

Crown AI does not store or track your personal data within the AI system itself. However, if you provide information for licensing, account management, or support purposes (such as name, email or business details), it will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
HEIR Consultancy Ltd does not access individual chat logs unless you choose to share them with us during a support request.
By using Crown AI, you consent to the handling of your information in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

12. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Crown AI subscription at any time by emailing hello@heir-salon.com or following the cancellation process provided in your membership portal (if applicable).

Your access will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. HEIR Consultancy Ltd does not provide partial refunds for unused time.

Upon cancellation, your licence to access Crown AI and use any of its generated content will expire at the end of the billing period. Continued use after this point is a breach of these terms.

13. Free trials

Free trials, where offered, automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

The payment amount, billing date, and renewal frequency are clearly displayed at checkout and in the order confirmation email.

By signing up, you agree to automatic billing unless cancellation is requested in writing before the end of your trial.

Continued access to Crown AI is dependent on an active monthly subscription.

HEIR Consultancy Ltd does not provide refunds for:

  • Lack of usage or engagement with the platform

  • Forgotten or overlooked cancellations

  • Late cancellation requests made after billing has occurred

We recommend that all users also maintain a ChatGPT Plus subscription through OpenAI to ensure uninterrupted access to Crown AI features and functionality.
